Vulnerability remediation

A report does not close anything. We work through the findings with your team, make the fixes we can, guide the ones we cannot, and retest to confirm each one is closed.

What it is

Most teams already have more findings than time. Remediation starts with ordering the list by what can actually hurt you, then splitting it into what can be fixed this week and what needs a project.

We can work from our own report or from anyone else’s: a scan export, an audit finding, or a customer security questionnaire.

What you get

  • A prioritized fix plan with owners and target dates
  • Patching and configuration changes carried out with your team
  • Hardening against recognized baselines such as CIS Benchmarks
  • Code-level guidance for developers on application findings
  • Compensating controls where a fix is not possible yet
  • Retesting, with evidence that each item is closed

How it works

  1. Triage

We read the findings, remove duplicates and rank them by exploitability and business impact.

  2. Plan

We agree what gets fixed now, what waits, and who owns each item.

  3. Fix

Patches, configuration changes, hardening and code changes, done in change windows you approve.

  4. Verify

We retest every fixed item and attach the evidence.

  5. Report

You get a before-and-after summary you can hand to auditors or customers.

What we need from you

  • The findings: our report, a scan export or an audit list
  • Change-management rules and approval contacts
  • Access to the systems being changed, granted by your team

Questions people ask

Can you fix findings from another firm’s report?

Yes. Send the report and we will tell you what is involved.

What if a patch would break something?

We look for a compensating control, such as a configuration change, network restriction or monitoring rule, and record it so the risk is accepted knowingly.

Do you retest?

Yes. Every fixed item is retested and the evidence goes into the closing report.
