Technical screening
A resume tells you what someone claims. Screening finds out what they have done. We check candidates against your actual requirement before anyone reaches you.
What organizations bring us
Keyword matching fills inboxes with near-misses. An SAP resume can list every module and still have no hands-on time in the one you need. A data engineer can name every tool and have run none of them in production.
We screen by depth on the specifics of the role: which modules and phases for ERP work, which systems and scale for data engineering, which controls and tools for security. Questions come from the requirement, not from a generic list.
What screening covers
-
Requirement analysis
Turn the role into must-haves, nice-to-haves and questions that test them.
-
Recruiter screen
A conversation with every candidate before submission: projects, availability, location, rate and authorization.
-
Technical review
A depth check on the skills that matter, by a recruiter or technical reviewer with the right background.
-
Specialist depth
For SAP and Oracle: modules, project phases and the person’s own contribution on each.
-
Work authorization
Candidates must already be authorized to work in the United States. We do not sponsor visas.
-
Credentials and licenses
Licenses and certifications the role needs, confirmed before submission.
-
Your own assessment
We can add a client test, take-home exercise or panel interview to the process.
-
Public Trust roles
Whether the contract requires U.S. citizenship and whether the candidate holds or can pursue the determination.
How a screening runs
- 1
Brief
Agree what must be true of the candidate.
- 2
Call
Recruiter conversation covering fit, availability and rate.
- 3
Depth check
Targeted technical questions, or a client-provided test.
- 4
Verify
Authorization, credentials and, if required, background checks.
- 5
Summarize
A short written note on fit and what to probe in your interview.
Which steps apply depends on the role and your process. We confirm the screening steps with you on the intake call.
What you receive
- A short fit summary per candidate
- Questions worth asking in your interview
- Confirmation of credentials the role requires
Questions people ask
Do you use automated screening?
We do not make hiring decisions with software. If any automated tool is used to sort or search, a person reviews the outcome. See the AI screening notice.
Can you use our assessment?
Yes. Tell us at intake and we will add it to the process.
Do you check references?
Where your client requires it, yes. We coordinate background, reference and drug screening as the client specifies.
